Apart from these two there is a grab back of smaller improvements we will list in the end. For the spatial features we leverage the ability of databases to work with spatial data continuing our ethos of pushing compuations to the backend. Not every database supports the spatial abilities that we need for plotting, but we have tested the DuckDB spatial extension, PostGIS, and SpatiaLite.
