Property graphs and knowledge graphs have become a natural way to represent such interconnected facts, and they are growing in scale, heterogeneity, and dynamic character. This, combined with the rapid advancements in AI, poses new challenges and also opportunities for the data management community: how to model, store, query, integrate, evolve, and maintain graph-structured data efficiently and reliably. This special issue invites contributions on current research and practice in data management for property graphs and knowledge graphs, including their interplay with AI.
